Why this exists

Finding a trusted car detailer in Adelaide is harder than it should be. Google results are patchy, Facebook posts disappear into feeds, and word-of-mouth only goes so far. Meanwhile, plenty of skilled local detailers — mobile operators, weekend studios, full-service shops — are invisible to the customers who’d happily hire them.

ShinyRidesList exists to fix both sides. Car owners get one clear, curated place to find detailers by suburb, service, and specialisation. Detailers get a free local listing that brings customers without paid advertising.

How listings work

• Personally verified. I contact every detailer before publishing their listing — confirming services, hours, and what they’re best at.
• Editorially reviewed. A small number of detailers are designated Editor’s Picks based on published criteria. Editor’s Pick is never for sale.
• Submitted by detailers, too. Detailers can submit their own listing for review. Free, always.
• Direct contact. Contact details go straight to the detailer. No lead forms, no booking middleman, no commissions.

What I believe

• Local first. ShinyRidesList only lists detailers operating in and around Adelaide.
• Curated, not crowdsourced. Quality of listings matters more than quantity.
• Free for basic listings, always. Optional paid promotion may be offered in future, clearly labelled.
• Honest by default. No paid rankings. No fake reviews. No hidden commissions.
